Being ready, willing, and accepting of reality, as it is, means not prioritizing our own ideas without considering how they could be positively influenced by other ideas. Our ideology isn’t coming from the outside, and it doesn’t ignore strategy in favor of organizational form. This is because, rather than coups, militarism, and reformism, we see the need for the active participation of the exploited classes, what we call popular protagonism.
Revolution exists in the constant disruption made up of the multiplicity of different acts of resistance. Revolutionary practices should be modified as needed to produce rupture in all fields of social life, and always with popular participation. Sometimes, it might be necessary to take baby steps, but that’s not the goal. Revolution is something you do continually, and not in an isolated way. This requires active participation from the people most concerned.
Capitalism is a global system with a future and an orientation. That’s why we have to develop the popular power necessary for the global revolution of tomorrow, not only for the battles taking place today.
